Freelance Graphic Artist & Art Educator OSAMA OMOREGBE CREATES ACTIVITY BOOKLET TO EDUCATE YOUTH
MASFM recently connected with Osama Omoregbe to create an activity booklet to complement our floodplain simulation demonstrations that we give to youth throughout the mid-Atlantic. The booklet includes original illustrations that are compelling and interesting. Osama took care to include Maryland native species of plants and animals in many of the pages. The activities provide an engaging way for youth to learn about the concept of watersheds, water quality and water quantity. The digital version can be accessed here: MAFSM Educational Activity booklet. Limited print copies are available. For more information on print copies contact us.

This 10-page book include a short narrative about a young girl discovering how a rain garden can make her yard safer, a glossary of terms to help expand vocabulary and activities that can be done with an adult. We encourage you to print the coloring book and share it with the children in your life.
